Kirsten Simone Vangsness, an American writer and actress who gained fame for appearing as 'Penelope' Garcia on the crime procedural television show 'Criminal Minds" She is well-known as an American. Kirsten Vangsness also is the star of the spin-offs 'Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and Suspect the Behavior. She's appeared in many other TV shows. Though she's mostly known as an actor on TV Vangsness has also had some small roles in movies. Her debut was in the world of entertainment in 1998. She has had notable roles in films such as "In My Sleep, The Chicago Eight", as well as 'Kill Me, Deadly.' She has written articles for the Los Angeles Times and co-wrote episodes of "Criminal Minds". She's a huge animal lover and especially cats.
